Frank's Unitarian Universalism Page
I was raised as a Unitarian Universalist. We are a non-creedal liberal religion. Our purposes and principles are:
We believe in:
See the Unitarian Universalist Association for more information on our faith.
One of the things I enjoy the most is attending conferences and camps. One conference I used to attend yearly was SPECTRUUM, a Young Adult conference hosted at Sangraal by the Sea, an American Youth Hostel on the Chessepeake Bay over Easter weekend. Another camp is SUUSI (South East Unitarian Universalist Summer Institute) which is a week long intergenerational camp held in western Virginia. Over 1000 people attend this camp!
See UU Camps for information on Unitarian Universalist camps and conferences.
Another main interest is in promoting young adult (ages 18-35, non-exclusive) participation in our faith. We hold conferences, pot lucks, brunch after church, and other activities to encourage young adults to participate in our faith.
See C*UUYAN for more information on Unitarian Universalist Young Adult activities.
My last main interest is being an advisor for YRUU (Young Religious Unitarian Universalists) which is for high school students. The youth host their own conferences. YRUU provides an opportunity for youth to explore leadership and individuality among an accepting group of peers.
The YAUUs is UUFR's young adult (or 20's and 30's) group. Contact the UUFR church office for current information on this group.
